Tehran - An Iranian diplomat who had been abducted in the Iraqi capital Baghdad was released and arrived in Tehran on Tuesday, the official news agency IRNA reported.
'The second secretary of Iran's embassy in Baghdad, Jala Sharafi, was released and arrived on Tuesday at Tehran's Mehrabad airport,' IRNA reported.
Armed militants dressed as Iraqi soldiers had kidnapped Sharafi in
the Karada area of central Baghdad on February 4.
Iran harshly condemned the abduction as a 'terrorist act' and blamed the United States for the insecurity in Iraq.

Ah so the US has finally released their Iranian captive. Now they just need to release all other political prisoners, stop invading other people's countries, end their occupation of other people's countries, stop funding Israel, stop propping up tyrants around the world, etc etc etc
