Apr 17, 2007, 19:23 GMT
Beirut- Lebanese Foreign Ministry sources said late Tuesday that two Lebanese students were among the 32 victims killed by a gunman at a university shooting on the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
The two students were identified as Reema Samaha and Ross Alameddine, both 19.
Samaha was a resident of Virginia and Alameddine was a resident of Massachusetts, the sources said.
Cho Seung-Hui, a 23-year-old South Korean student, who was a permanent resident of the United States, was apparently the lone gunman in the rampage.
He killed 32 students and faculty before taking his own life in the worst shooting in US history. Officials said Tuesday at least 12 people remained hospitalized.
