At least 25 slain in Basra car bombing

Baghdad - A car bombing killed at least 25 people in the southern Iraqi city of Basra, according to reports early Monday by Iraqi media.
Citing official sources, the news agency Aswat al-Iraq said that there were numerous people wounded in addition to the dead.
Apparently laden with explosives, the vehicle was detonated about 10 pm Sunday in the vicinity of a restaurant.
