Olmert will not quit, despite harsh criticism, ally says (Extra)

Jerusalem - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will not resign, despite being harshly criticised in a report on his handling of the opening days of last summer's war with Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas, a close political associate said Monday night.
Olmert made the announcement in a meeting of ministers of his Kadima party, Interior Minister Roni Bar-On told Channel 2 Television News.
In its report released late Monday afternoon, the commission set up to investigate the government's performance during the war slammed Olmert's 'severe failures' in the opening days of the offensive.
It found that the premier, Defence Minister Amir Peretz and former military chief of staff Dan Halutz had acted without 'clear goals,' fully weighing other options and thinking through a 'detailed, comprehensive' military plan when they launched the offensive on July 12, following a Hezbollah cross border raid which saw two Israel soldiers abducted and three others killed.
Peretz was also lambasted for his lack of experience and his failure to fulfil his duties properly, but aides of the defence minister were quoted as saying that he too would not resign.

Mr. Hurd — The IDF and the Israeli government are not 'war criminals.' Israel is on the front lines of the war against the 'Global Jihad. I suggest you pay some attention to the progressive takeover of your country from within by islamofascists.
With friends like you lot who needs enemies, It was Israel and its beyond the scenery fabrication of the evidence for the case of a war against Iraq that got us into this mess.
Mickey....M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E.
You statement is like something from Disney Land. Islamic Fascism? I can tell by your use of terminology you are a total moron...did you get that from the RNC or DNC website? Global Jihad? Israel couldnt even take care of business in Lebanon. You probably think that thousands of terrorists are holed up in caves waiting to attack huh? wave after wave over the entire planet huh? To take away our freedoms huh? Because they are pure evil? This world has many problems. I dont think Muslims crack the top 1000.

It is funny how one set of war criminals in Israel blames the other set of war criminals for being failures; they all make Hitler’s henchmen look like pacifists.
