Palestinian militants rocket Israeli towns, crossings

Jul 29, 2007, 9:19 GMT

Gaza - Palestinian militants fired a barrage of rockets at Israeli communities adjacent to the Gaza Strip Sunday, in what observers said may be an attempt to prevent Palestinians stranded outside the salient from entering the enclave via Israel.

In a statement faxed to the media Sunday, the Islamic Jihad organization, said it had launched four makeshift missiles at the Israeli city of Ashkelon, which situated several kilometres north of the Strip, and at the town of Sderot, which lies just to the east.

The group also claimed responsibility for shelling the Kerem Shalom crossing point, in the south-east of the Strip.

The Abu al-Riesh brigades, an offshoot of President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement, said it had also participated in the shelling.

No Israeli casualties were reported.

The Palestinian Authority, in coordination with Israel and Egypt, is set to bring 100 travellers to the salient Sunday by taking into Israel through a passageway on Israel-Egypt border, and then to the Erez crossing point, which lies at the northern end of the Strip, from where they will head for the homes.

But the Hamas movement, which took control of the Gaza Strip last month, opposes this and wants the Palestinians to enter the Strip directly by having the Rafah crossing point, on the Gaza-Egyptian border, reopened.

The Nazi Jewish State of IsraelJul 29th, 2007 - 10:53:39

There is a moral responsibility for all people to bring as much pressure on their politicians to force sadistic war criminals running Israel and its institutions to release all foreign political prisoners Israel holds in its evil jails.
There will never be a peaceful occupation by Israel on land belonging to others.

So by that reasoning there will never be peace in America until the white European settlers (and other) give the land back to the Native Americans and in Australia the land is given back to the Aborigines. Bollocks!
