Baghdad - At least six Iraqis were killed and scores wounded on Monday in an attack targeting a checkpoint of anti-al-Qaeda tribal forces in Salahaddin province, reports said.
A suicide attacker driving a car bomb blew himself up near a checkpoint of the Salahaddin Awakening Council forces in Balad district, 60 kilometres north of Baghdad, the source added.
The sources did not specify whether the victims were civilians or tribal security personnel.
