Duh... are the Palestinians STILL having trouble figuring out that Israel only responds to attacks, and DOES NOT go on the offensive????

Stupid, stupid Hamas... If they're going to cause cross-border trouble, they should wait until they're self sufficient - most dogs don't bite the hand that feeds them. Idiots can't generate their own electricity or provide for 'their people' yet they keep firing rockets into the country that supplies them with electricity, fuel, food, medicine, jobs, etc. If the Hamas cornballs would spend time building and creating instead of blaming and destroying, they could provide more that Gazans need by now. On the other hand, Hamas is a bad organization and they deserve to fail.

The report fails to state that Israel continues to supply 60% of the electricity Gaza needs (Egypt provides another 8%). The fuel driven power plant only supplies 22% of the total power. The lights, are turned off to create propoganda. Read information flowing from sources other than the news services. You will see that this is propaganda at it's best.

I don't doubt that there is some impact on life in Gaza. That's the point. Get the people's attention and let them know it is a simple cause and effect. Stop launching missles daily, and the people you are attacking might begin to help you agaian.

Are you serious? Hamas is firing rockets at Israel and Israel still provides electricity. Israel did not cut off electricity! They did close border to fuel shipments but that just puts local power plant at risk. More than 2/3 of all electrical power in gaza is provided by Israel and Egypt. The only 'crisis' is the one created by Hamas.

What is wrong with you people!?!

Israel's action is evidence that it is not serious about the so-called peace process. Israel is using the rocket situation with Gaza as an excuse to slaughter as many Palestinians as they can, because every dead Palestinian brings them closer to getting Palestinian land.

Israel can end the rocket dispute with Hamas simply by returning stolen land to the Palestinians and giving up their occupation. Israelis should realize there can be no peace without justice, and Israel has dispensed nothing but injustice to the Palestinians.

The state of Israel should be a shame for Jews everywhere since it was built on the blood of Palestinians, and is an apartheid, murderous, racist, terrorist, state with no reform in sight. Israel is the world's burden and shame. Its action keeps antisemitism alive.
