Palestinian killed in Gaza Strip
Mar 28, 2008, 7:32 GMT
Gaza City - A Palestinian was killed and two others seriously wounded during an Israeli army incursion into the southern part of the Gaza Strip Friday, according to medical sources.
The three Palestinians were identified as members of the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Hamas movement which controls the Gaza Strip.
The sources said the dead Palestinian suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and the other two were reported in serious condition.
An Israeli army unit entered the Qarara area, east of Khan Yunis, and engaged a number of Palestinian gunmen, sources said.
This is the first report of an Israeli incursion into the Gaza Strip in days after an Egyptian intervention to bring calm to the area and stop violence on both sides of the Gaza borders with Israel.

I don't understand why so many americans want Bush to boycott the Beijing Olimpics. As long as Bush continues the war in Iraq and supports the terrorist state of Israel and its genocide of the Palestinians, a US boycott of Beijing Olimpics or political statement on human rights will be seen as US hypocrisy.
