Baghdad - Four US soldiers were killed by insurgents in Iraq during the ongoing military action against the militia loyal to radical cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, the US military reported Wednesday.
The soldiers died March 26, Saturday and Sunday in Baghdad, the military reported.
Most attacks on the US soldiers occurred in the east of the city where the Sadrists are strongest.
The US Army has supported the government offensive, launched by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, since it began on March 25.
