Hezbollah says they are proud to be on the US terrorist list

May 2, 2008, 20:14 GMT

Beirut - The Iranian-backed Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah said on Friday it prides itself on being on the United States' terrorist list.

'The US administration has no right to give statements on nationalism and terrorism when it is making the peoples of the world, including the American people, pay the price for its wars and bloody policies,' said a statement by Hezbollah.

Hezbollah's remarks came in response to the report released earlier this week by the US State Department which accused Iran of providing aid to Palestinian 'terrorist' groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, 'Iraq-based militants,' and Taliban fighters in Afghanistan.

The statement criticized Washington for its Lebanon policy and accused the US of 'provoking its allies in Lebanon against fellow citizens who support the resistance and the opposition.'

Hezbollah slammed the US as the biggest threat to international peace and stability.

What a shame. In today's world if you have a disagreement then the other party is a terrorist. Which, of course, makes everyone a terrorist.

So many words diluted by so many idiots of language and meaning.

Words are near meaningless anymore. Actions are near meaningless. Anything goes as long as there is a power base to make it happen.

It's not the words that make you a terrorist, although they are part of it it's the:

Rockets the Hixbo's fire into Israel and innocent civilians

Kidnap and torture and murder

Holding governments like Syria hostage.

You're going to have to do better than that.

'You're going to have to do better than that.'

... sure, easy. The U.S. nuked two cities, burned the flesh off of Vietnamese, Bombed infrastructure which caused huge population strife, is the biggest arms supplier to the world, including (previously) to Saddam Hussein, etc. etc.

But, lets pretend like the U.S. never fired a rocket on any civilian, has never participated in false arrests, never killed without approval of the local jurisdictional authorities, never held another government hostage, or anything like that.

In other words, the U.S. is lilly white while everyone else is going to hell.

Yeah, right.

I think meaningful dialog is way way past due, infact so past due that people have forgotten what meaningful dialog is. They just scream: TERRORISTS! and don't think about the duplicity. Infact, I rarely read the word duplicity, but I read a lot about terrorists. I think there is more duplicity then there is terrorism.

Oh, and let me preempt the next comment ...

You are going to explain why the U.S. had to mass incinerate hundreds of thousands of people.

But, you do not want to know why Hezbollah shoots some rockets.

I do not condone either action. I merely point out the duplicity in the discussion of the actions. The mass incinerators are lilly white saviors of freedom while the rocket launchers are terrorists.

'You are going to explain why the U.S. had to mass incinerate hundreds of thousands of people.'

Oops, typo there ... I should have typed:

You are going to explain why the U.S. had to mass incinerate hundreds of thousands of INNOCENT CIVILIANS.

To end WW2, a conflict that the Japanese started. To save a HALF MILLION Japanese lives. To save a HALF MILLION AMERICAN lives, one of whom was my father.

By that account, Israel should mass incinerate hizbullah and the filthy, evil country that supports them.

Yeah, yeah. And if Hezbollah mass incinerate their enemy's civilian population then they would give up and the carnage would stop and hence Hezbollah would be responsible for saving many lives.

And Saddam Hussein did just that, except mass gas them and they gave up, or so it goes. Without mass gassing his enemies the carnage of insurrection would have gone on and on.

And so on and so on. Pretty boring actually.
