Egyptian farmer hangs and beheads his daughter in "honour" killing

May 25, 2008, 11:08 GMT

Cairo - An Egyptian farmer who suspected his 16-year-old daughter was having an affair hanged her and then beheaded her body in the southern province of Bani Soueif, it was reported Sunday.

The local daily Al-Akhbar said Abdel-Samad, 46, turned himself to the police after the killing. It said a police investigation showed the father suspected his daughter of having the affair.

So-called honour killings are not unusual in Egypt and other countries of the Middle East, where families murder female members for having brought 'shame' on their name.

Such killings often involve a female member refusing an arranged marriage or having a relationship that the family considers to be inappropriate.

At the time of UN partition in 1947 the demographic problem was of the greatest concern for the Zionists because Palestinians outnumbered Jews in Palestine. (Notice the name of Palestine)”The proposed Jewish state: 498,000 Jews vs. 435,000 Palestinians; and the proposed Palestinian state: 10,000 Jews vs. 725,000 Arabs. These population numbers make it very clear why chasing the Palestinians from their land became a Zionist imperative.

Note the early Zionist popular saying “A land [Palestine] without a people for a people [Jews] without a land.
On 5 June 1967, Israel, the cancer cell launched a pre-emptive strike (notice the similarity to Bush’s initially proposed preemptive strike against Iraq) against Egypt, Jordan and Syria. Because the cancer cell managed in the first few hours to destroy the Arab air force by attacking its military air bases, zionist's air power was able to assure a quick victory. A prime basic cause was the unequal access to the area’s limited resource of water. “zionist’s victory had reversed the balance of water resources in the Middle East. Its occupation of the Golan Heights gave it control over the Banias headwaters. Israel’s occupation of the West Bank gave it important groundwater resources;

Powerful religious fundamentalists and others with their goal of a Greater Israel won the day and settlements began to be built in the Occupied Territories. zionists settlements being built in the Occupied Territories while it [the U.S.] continued to finance these settlements with ongoing very large annual funding given to the cancer cell. A great deal of land around the settlements and along the interconnecting Israeli only road systems has been seized and cleared of Palestinian homes and centuries old olive groves.

The detailed maps of the present settlement systems in the Occupied Territories are not generally available to the outside world. Three million Palestinians are forced to live with these settlement “facts” (plus the ever ongoing Palestinian home and farm demolitions, and a general breakup of their civil infrastructure) day in and day out.

News of ''Honour killing'' is off course very disturbing for any Muslim anywhere in the world. The sin for sexual relations without marriage is same for man and woman. The ARABS ARE IN THE HABBIT OF KILLING THEIR WOMEN FROM BEFORE THEY DECLARED TO BE MUSLIMS. Honour or dishonour is not the question. They got to get out of PAGANISM and try to be Muslim.

Now regarding the comments of Iranian... Read the history and see that king Abdul Aziz of Saudie arabia signed a deal in 1923 with US president to establish the Zionist state. The attack of Ottoman empire against Iran and a little later obliterating of Ottoman empire with creation of Iraq, Syria, Saudie Arabia, Lebanon and Palestine was part of the plan enacted by DEJEW DESRAEILI of UK PM in 1850.

The zionist DEJEW Christian PM of UK had a plan. The book ''PROTOCOLS OF ELDERS OF JEWS'' elaborate the nature of jews in general and zionists in particular.

The earlier commenter is correct. These crimes are believed to have their origins in pre-Islamic Arab tribal codes. They pre-date Islam and are, in fact, un-Islamic.

Hey Iranian, There has never been a Palestinian people, only regional arabs. The founders of the PLO were quoted saying that there is no such thing as a distinct Palestinian people. Never has been. The turks got kicked out and the British gave 80% of the land to the arabs and 20% to the jewish residents of the region. The arabs demanded more and got more...it's called Jordan and it was originally given to the jews...(that's right, given. Because when one country kicks anothers ass, they can divide things as they like, it's called to the victor goes the spoils) Well, the arabs got 80% of the jews 20%...not very fair. Then all the arabs attacked the jews and the arabs living in Israel/Palestine fled to avoid the promised genocide to be delivered by arab armies. The arabs lost, like they've lost every war for centuries. The arab countries then expelled nearly a million jews from their own countries and confiscated their properties and assets. Now, here's a test...name one contribution to civilization that has sprang from the arabs since the introduction of the concept of zero to mathematics. Can't name many, can you?
Whether you blame honor killings on paganism or Islam. The fact remains that wherever you find a large percentage of a populace following Mohammed, the desert pirate and pedophile, you will find intolerance and usually genocide committed against anyone who isn't a Muslim.

What a horrific story. Quite evil. I sometimes think that this Planet, which we live on, would be much better off... without us.
