Jordanians demonstrate to urge lifting of Gaza siege

Jun 7, 2008, 17:31 GMT

Amman - Hundreds of Jordanians staged a rally Saturday to press for lifting of the blockade imposed by Israel on the Gaza Strip and urged Arab countries, particularly Egypt, to break the siege.

The protest was held in front of the Islamic Action Front (IAF), Jordan's largest political party and the political arm of the influential Muslim Brotherhood movement.

Addressing the audience, the IAF Deputy Secretary General Rhayyel Gharaibeh accused Arab countries of 'playing into the hands of the United States and Israel' by failure to take steps to break the Gaza siege.

Egyptian leaders should be shunned by all arab countries and Iran and considered traitors because of their submissiveness to the US and Israel. Egypt has joined with Israel to deny 8 students in Gaza with scholarships to attend foreign universities the right to leave Gaza and travel abroad to further their education. Egypt has become Israel's right hand in oppressing and denying young Palestinians opportunities to further their education. This type of behavior is expected from the apartheid, racist, state of Israel that is engaged in genocide and state sponsored terrorism of the Palestinian people for their land, but not Egypt. SHAME ON EGYPTIAN LEADERS WHO HAVE TURNED INTO TRAITORS AGAINST THEIR OWN PEOPLE FOR THE LIKES OF ISRAEL AND THE US!!!!

blockade is a response to rocket attacksJun 7th, 2008 - 21:32:53

Instead of demonstrating against the blockade, why not demonstrate against the futile rocket attacks?

The rocket attacks (which Hamas instigates and which the Pals apparently support) have no strategic value whatsoever!

At some point, the Pals will have to put away the illusion that Israel will fall and/or be defeated.

Be realistic, people of the West Bank and Gaza.

Israel isn't going anywhere; to the contrary, it's getting stronger by the year!

Meanwhile, Hamas keeps serving up its vile and toxic brew of so-called resistance and martyrdom.

The billions in investment that would come pouring into a New Palestine that was living at peace with its neighbor Israel will continue to stay on the sidelines.

Any Palestinian who supports Hamas is a traitor to himself and to his people.

The mad dogs need to be kept penned. These losers had a chance to vote for progress and they put the islamic lunatics known as 'hamas' in power. Leave it to the Palestinians...they never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. They'd have had their own state a long time ago if it weren't for their leadership and their own homicidal tendencies.

Israeli Jews are proving to be the worst people in the world. They are showing the world they have no heart and will do anything for money, as keeping Palestinians poor and in poverty to exploit and makes money off them. But refusing to allow 8 Palestinian students the right to leave Gaza and travel aboard to attend foreign universities on scholarships to further their education is the low even for Jews.

THIS TREATMENT OF THE 8 PALESTINIAN STUDENTS IS DESPICABLE AND UNJUST, AND THE REASON WHY ANTI-SEMITISM IS ALIVE AND WELL!!!!!
