Iran's Ahmadinejad charges US with assassination plot

Tehran - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday charged the United States with an assassination plot against him, Fars news agency reported.
'According to reliable information, as I rejected to reside in the green zone during my trip to Iraq, the Americans had planned to kidnap and kill this humble servant of the nation,' Ahmadinejad told clergy circles in a meeting in the religious city of Qom in central Iran.
'The plot was neutralized due to a last-minute change of our schedule,' Ahmadinejad added, without however elaborating how Iran gained the information of the assassination attempt.
Ahmadinejad was in Iraq last March and according to reports back then, he cancelled a trip to southern Iraqi holy cities of Karbala and Najaf due to security concerns.

Ahmadinejad is clearly crazy. Now we can add paranoia to his list of mental illnesses. The US wouldn't kill him--aside from other considerations, it wouldn't even do any good to kill him.
Constitutionally the President of Iran is a barking dog on a short leash and doesn't run the country at all. And Ahmadinejad may or may not even be re-elected. If anything, the US likes this guy because he says such crazy psycho racist stuff that its easier to get support for sanctions against Iran every time he opens his mouth.
Several months back, Ahmadinejad offered to monitor the upcoming US Presidential elections, claiming he could prove whether or not they were free and fair elections because 'if Bush is re-elected, he'll know the elections weren't fair.' He said it in all seriousness. He is clueless about the world and of course there's that holocaust denial thing and that 'wipe Israel off the map' thing.
Sadly, I wouldn't even trust Iran to run a nuclear power plant (they don't even take proper care of their hospital biohazard waste!) let alone nuclear weapons.

The US administartions have committed more crimes in the world than any other nation. Assasinations and revolts are the bye product of US friendships and enmity.
OFF COURSE MAJOR PART OF THE US POPULATION, IS DECSENDANTS OF ROBBERS, PIRATES AND OTHER CRIMINALS, EVEN CASTRO OPENED HIS JAILS TO SEND CUBAN CRIMINALS TO USA!!!

60 years of peace and the resulting unparalleled prosperity of Europe.
Winning the cold war with the old Soviet Union.
Winning two world wars
providing half of the security for the free world.
Confronting some of the worst crimes against humanity
The first to run to another nations aid in their time of need.
Neighbors who have the finest neighbor in the world, who honor their soverignty and would run to their protection in an instant.
Freeing 50 million people from the yoke of totalistarianism.
Yeah, some folks got killed and mistakes were made. Nonetheless, go look at a map of the world and ask yourself what it would look like without US leadership.
