US forces arrest Tikrit's Press Syndicate Head (Extra)

Baghdad - US forces arrested Tuesday Head of Tikrit's Press Syndicate, some 180 kilometres north Baghdad, the detainee's close relatives said.
In the early hours of Tuesday, US forces attacked Hassan Magun's house in Tikrit, a member of Magun's family told Deutsche Presse- Agentur dpa.
Forces confiscated 70,000 US dollars and three kilograms of gold before arresting Magun and his son Abdullah, a university student.
Besides heading Tikrit's Press Syndicate, the 55-year-old Magun owns a jewelry shop in the city.
