Ankara - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad arrived in the Turkish resort town of Bodrum on Tuesday where he was to meet Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Anadolu news agency reported.
Four rounds of indirect talks between Syria and Israel, mediated by Turkey, are likely to top the agenda of the meeting at a luxury resort hotel by the Mediterranean.
Turkish media reported that Assad and his family would stay in Turkey following the meeting for a 10-day holiday.
