Car bomb in western Baghdad kills 12

Baghdad - A car bomb that exploded on Sunday near a market in western Baghdad killed 12 people, police said.
Some 35 people were injured in the explosion that hit the market place in the al-Shortah al-Rabaa district, a police source told the Voices of Iraq (VOI) news agency.
The explosion happened shortly before the time when Muslims break their fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
