New York - UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon 'strongly condemned' on Monday the bombing in Tripoli, Lebanon, that killed at least three Lebanese government troops.
Ban conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the government and armed forces of Lebanon. He called for bringing the attackers before justice.
He said in a statement that he remains 'encouraged by the measures taken in recent weeks by the Lebanese to resume the national dialogue and calls upon them not to be deterred by this new attack.'
