Sep 30, 2008, 16:16 GMT
Baghdad - At least three civilians were killed and seven others, including four women, were wounded Tuesday in a car bomb explosion near the national theatre in central Baghdad, a police source said.
'A car rigged with explosives went off on Tuesday afternoon in front of a bakery near the national theatre,' the source told the Voices of Iraq (VOI) news agency.
The Iraqi National Troupe was supposed to perform at the theatre's main hall for the first time in five years on Tuesday, which marks the first day of Eid al-Fitr in Iraq.
