Damascus - Three armed terrorism suspects were shot dead Thursday by Syrian forces in a Palestinian refugee camp south of Damascus, witnesses told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa.
One member of Syria's security forces was injured in the attack, which took place in the Yarmouk refugee camp, south of Damascus.
Another person was wounded by Syrian forces in the incident, Lebanon's privately owned Dunia television network reported. 'One of the men, who was wearing an explosives belt, was overpowered by the Syrian security forces,' the network reported.
Other Lebanese media reported that four terrorists were killed in the incident.
Terrorists recently struck at a road near the Damascus airport. Some 17 people were killed and another 14 were injured in the September 27 attack.
