South Africa condemns escalation of Israeli's offensive in Gaza
Jan 4, 2009, 14:52 GMT
Pretoria - The South African government on Sunday called for an immediate end to the escalation of Israeli's military operations in the Gaza Strip, saying the consequences were 'unacceptable.'
'The South African government unequivocally and in the strongest possible terms condemns the escalation of violence on the part of Israel brought about by the launching last night of a ground invasion into Gaza,' the foreign affairs department said in a statement.
Pretoria called on Israel to immediately and unconditionally withdraw its troops from the enclave, warning that the offensive 'will inevitably lead to an even larger loss of civilian life, which will have an impact throughout the region for years to come.'

they condemn Israel for the few hundred deaths of civilians....but say not a word of the thousands who have died under Mugabe and his thugs....yep....South Africa doesnt have moral foot to stand on. Put up or shut up South Africa....deal with Mugabe instead of kissing his rump.
