Jordan's king flies to Riyadh for peace-moving talks

Apr 29, 2009, 13:36 GMT

Amman- King Abdullah II of Jordan flew to Riyadh Wednesday for talks with the Saudi leadership at the start of a new round of regional diplomacy to spur the stalled Palestinian-Israeli talks in the wake of what officials labeled as a successful trip to Washington last week, officials said.

King Abdullah planned similar meetings in the coming few days with Egyptian President Hosny Mubarak and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, they added.

The monarch is due to brief Saudi King Abdullah on the outcome of his talks at the White House on April 21 with US President Barack Obama, who voiced strong support to the two-state solution and to the Arab peace initiative.

King Abdullah met with Obama with an authorization from Arab foreign ministers who met earlier in the Jordanian capital to push forward the quest of peace on the basis of the Arab blueprint that offers Israel recognition by all Arab states if it quits all Arab lands it occupied in the 1967 Six-Day War, including East Jerusalem.

Jordanian editorialists suggested that Abdullah would aim to muster world pressure on the Israeli government to accept the two- state solution that envisages the creation of an independent Palestinian state that lives in peace with Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his far-right Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman have dropped strong hints against the two-state vision, offering Palestinians instead 'economic peace'.

I think that with all due respect,King Abdullah of Jordan is pipe dreaming if he thinks that he or the whole Arab world not to mention the White house ,will be able to force ISRAEL to devide JERUSALEM the city of my GOD or to give up any more land to the Arabs ,never do you hear ,never .You say that the JEWS are occupying Arab land when it is just the opposit. The LAND of ISRAEL was given to them by GOD.The GOD of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob ,This is the GOD of ISRAEL and HE is the ultimate OWNER understand???And GOD HIMSELF said'YOU shall not devide MY land. But the Arabs don't believe GOD's word.Jerusalem WILL NOT be devided so i guess the King of Jordan was right in a sense.ISRAEL will stand alone.Well let me tell you a little secret. They will not be alone for the GOD of ISRAEL will protect them as he did when He helped them escape the hand of Pharoah in Egypt. And we all know what happened to Pharoah do we not???I know my warning will go unheeded because what will happen is part of Prophecy and what happens must happen ,but woe woe to whoever brings on the trouble for they will be fighting against GOD HIMSELF ,a fate i would not wish on my worst enemy.Think before you charge headlong into oblivian .YOU better count the cost before you try to trample GOD's chosen people.Think hard and repent while you still can.SHALOM

Just to add to what tzionbenjudah posted, most all that happened to Israel was written in advance. Their 400 years bondage to Egypt, 70 years captivity in Babylon and their dispersion in 70 A.D. by Titus and the Romans. All these events were written in advance. The greatest prophecy of all was that after God scattered Israel to the four winds of the world is that He would bring them back into the land. The odds can not be calculated accurately, they are so astronomical. Ezekiels 37 and his vision of the whole house of Israel's bones scattered over all the nations, raising up and coming together and moving back into the land is just one of many prophecies fortelling of their return to the land of Palestine, their promised land. Amos 9:14-15,says God will bring Israel into the land and plant them and they shall be no more pulled up out of their land.
USA remember the promise given to Abraham, 'I will bless those that bless thee and I will curse those who curse thee'. The fires, floods, whirlwinds and the droughts you've had in record number Amerca, these are just the beginning. If we threaten Israel with political and financial sanctions if they do not agree to give up more of it's promised land to an enemy that has sworn to exterminate them from the face of the earth, then watch what happens to us afterward.

Dear King Abdullah,
Barack Obama is quite a good talker and convincing planner but the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will protect His people and the land He gave to be theirs to live in and fight for and His to protect.

G-d will not be mocked...You are forewarned, by His Word.
