Iranian police use tear gas against demonstrators (Extra)

Berlin - In ongoing confrontations, Iranian police clashed in Tehran with opposition protesters on Saturday, according to reports reaching the German Press Agency dpa in Berlin.
The reports cited eyewitnesses as reporting a clash and that police and riot forces had used tear gas.
Further details were not immediately available about the latest incident in the ongoing controversy after the June 12 presidential elections in which President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad has been declared the winner, a result rejected by opposition groups and his chief opponent, Mir-Hossein Moussavi.
