Iranian cleric wants death sentence for demonstration leaders

Jun 26, 2009, 9:56 GMT

Tehran - A senior Iranian cleric called on the judiciary Friday to impose death sentences on the leaders of the recent protests against alleged fraud in the June 12 presidential election.

'I call on the judiciary for a decisive confrontation with the leaders of these illegal demonstrations and ask for capital punishment against them without any mercy,' Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, who is close to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said at Friday prayers.

Iran has seen numerous street demonstrations since Ahmadinejad was declared the winner of the election by an unexpectedly large margin.

A message to the People of Iran from the American Republic

In The Name Of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

All praise be to Allah The Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds

Your President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has overstepped his boundaries of international laws, your President has enslaved you all with false promise and false reward, your President will cause many of you to lose your lives in battle, your President is willing to take all of you on a suicide mission for his own ego, your President thinks that he will create the way for your Messiah, when in fact he will cause the destruction of your cities and infrastructure. Sanctions will not work to stop this infidel from carrying out his mission. We know that he has created a nuclear weapons system and other WMD. He is just waiting for the right excuse.
With that said, let it be known that if one wishes to play with fire, then one must be willing to get burnt. Its unfortunate that most of you will be destroyed over this attempt to start another world war. We also know that among you are great leaders that can put an end to this madman's rage and ignorance.

People of Iran, some of you are going to die and others are going to suffer after the battle. We are not afraid of your President and his religious infidels that lay with dogs and pigs in the spring. We can isolate him and give him to you to do whatever you please according to Islamic law. We also can give you his showroom dummies that control his puppet strings. Alone on the streets without his guards he will be defenseless and weak.

The UN and the United States of America have no power to force your President to stop his war-game. Diplomatic negotiations do not work well with someone who does not care or even play by the rules of civilized citizens.
Time has run out for you people to stand by and watch, you might wish to leave Iran or drag the President, and his puppet masters to the streets to be dealt with by the people, without mercy. It's time to make that choice. You have been warned.

We support the poor, helpless, and defenseless people. We support the freedom of Women, we support the sane treatment of animals and the environment, we support the freedom of religion and expression. We do not support ignorance, period.

We are a growing nation of people that encourage anyone or Nation anywhere to become part of the New American Republic!

Sincerely,
Judah Ben-Hur
Ambassador
The American Republic
American Mujahideen Army Council
Headquarters: United States of America
