Six drug-traffickers hanged in Iran

Tehran - Six convicted drug-traffickers were hanged on Thursday in Iran, a judiciary official told Fars news agency.
The six were hanged in a prison in Qom, 135 kilometres south of the capital Tehran, Fars reported.
Murder, rape, armed robbery and drug trafficking of quantities in excess of five kilos are among the crimes punishable by death in Iran.
