Six drug traffickers hanged in Iran

Tehran - Six convicted drug traffickers were hanged Thursday in Iran, a judiciary official told the Fars news agency.
The six were hanged in a prison in Qom, 135 kilometres south of Tehran, Fars reported.
Murder, rape, armed robbery and drug trafficking of quantities in excess of 5 kilograms are among the crimes punishable by death in Iran.
