Iran releases detained Danish student journalist

Tehran - A Danish student journalist detained in Iran was released on Tuesday, the Iranian judiciary announced.
After investigations had been concluded, the order for the release of the detained man was issued, the judiciary's public relations department said in a statement carried by Fars news agency.
Niels Krogsgard, a student at the University of Southern Denmark, was arrested on November 4 in Tehran during a protest rally against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Krogsgard had been charged by the judiciary of carrying out journalistic activities without an official accreditation by the relevant foreign press department which is affiliated to the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance.
