Nov 11, 2009, 10:38 GMT
Ramallah - Tens of thousands of Palestinians gathered in the central West Bank city of Ramallah Wednesday to commemorate five years since the death of Yasser Arafat.
They gathered in the courtyard of the Mukata'a headquarters of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for the main memorial service, waving Palestinian flags, as well as portraits and Arafat's trademark black-and-white keffiyeh, or traditional Arab headdress.
