Six security personnel killed in Iraqi violence (Roundup)

Baghdad - Six people were killed and six injured in attacks targeting mostly police stations and patrols in Iraq on Sunday, police said.
Two people were killed and six injured in several attacks in the northern city of Kirkuk. The victims were believed to be security personnel.
Most of the recent attacks in the area some 250 kilometres from the capital Baghdad have claimed the lives of soldiers, policemen or guards.
Four policemen were killed by unknown assailants at a police checkpoint in Abu Ghraib, just west of Baghdad, at dawn on Sunday, security officials said.
