Nasrallah accuses Israel of assassinating Hariri

Beirut - Hezbollah chief Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah on Tuesday accused Israel of assassinating former Lebanese premier Rafik Hariri in 2005.
'I have information. We accuse Israel of killing Rafik Hariri on February 14, 2005,' Nasrallah said in a speech to mark the fourth anniversary of Israel's war with Lebanon in 2006.
His accusation came amidst renewed tension in Lebanon over the murder as reports last week said the UN Special Tribunal for Lebanon was set to accuse Hezbollah members in the assassination.
Also Tuesday, Israel and Lebanon traded fire over their shared border, leaving at least two Lebanese and one Israeli soldier dead, in the most serious clash since Israel and Hezbollah guerillas fought a bitter war in 2006.
'I will reveal a very important secret about the work of the Resistance to prove my arguments on August 9,' he added.
'We will manage to uncover the real criminals behind the Rafik Hariri murder,' Nasrallah said.
Hariri was killed in a massive bomb blast in Beirut. His followers have accused Syria of plotting the murder with its allies in Lebanon, but Syria has always denied any involvement.
The tension over the pending tribunal annoucement prompted Syrian president Bashar al-Assad and Saudi King Abdullah to hold a mini- summit in Beirut last week to to contain the situation, which many fear that will lead Lebanon into a new civil war.
