Tehran - A man has had one of his hands cut off in Iran for repeated robbery, including stealing chocolate from a pastry in the capital Tehran, the Fars news agency reported Saturday.
The 21-year-old was arrested last May and also sentenced to a one- year jail term, Fars quoted a judge as saying.
Islamic laws allow for amputation of hands as one of the punishments for repeated robbery offences.
