Three dead in string of attacks targeting Iraqi security forces

Baghdad - Three people were killed and 13 injured Wednesday in a series of attacks targeting security forces in Iraq, security sources said.
Two soldiers were killed and nine people - most of them civilians - injured by a bomb targeting an Iraqi military patrol outside the northern city of Mosul.
In a separate attack in Mosul, gunmen killed a policewoman and injured her brother, security sources said.
In central Fallujah, meanwhile, three people - including two soldiers - were injured by another bomb targeting an Iraqi military patrol. The city is located some 60 kilometres west of Baghdad.
