Yemen police release female suspect over package bombs

Sana'a, Yemen - Yemeni police released on Sunday a female university student one day after they arrested her over suspected links to two packages containing explosives mailed to the United States, a security source said.
The source told the German Press Agency dpa that Hanan Mohamed al-Sanawy,22, a computer science student 'was released after investigations showed that she was the wrong person.'
'She was handed over to her father,' the source added.
The woman was arrested late Saturday after Yemeni authorities received tip-offs from US authorities connecting her to the plot.
