Aug 24, 2011, 12:33 GMT
Cairo - A rocket from the Gaza Strip landed Wednesday in the Egyptian border town of Rafah, injuring one woman, Egyptian state television reported.
She was taken to hospital, a military source said, but the extent of her injuries was not immediately clear.
Rockets fired from Gaza at the weekend landed near the Egyptian border, causing no casualties.
The violence has escalated between Palestinians in Gaza and Israel after deadly attacks in Eilat in southern Israel on August 18.
