Countries walk out of Ahmadinejad's UN address
Sep 22, 2011, 17:21 GMT
New York - Several countries walked out of the UN General Assembly on Thursday when Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accused Western governments of undermining international law.
Delegates from the United States, France and several other European countries stood up and walked out of the assembly hall 15 minutes after Ahmadinejad lambasted countries that had enslaved Africans and dominate the UN Security Council.
'The answers are clear,' the Iranian president said. 'They proclaimed they have the indisputable power. They insisted on imposing their lifestyles upon others.'
