Police arrest Lebanese-Syrian gang selling pornographic movies

Beirut - Lebanese police arrested a gang Wednesday for promoting pornographic movies and selling them to teenagers across the country.
One Lebanese national and four Syrians sold the films on DVD in various regions of Lebanon, a police report said.
'The suspects have been handed over to the concerned judicial authorities in order to uncover the remaining members of the gang and the network they are collaborating with to distribute these movies,' it said.
It is illegal to produce, sell or advertise publicly any sort of pornographic films in Lebanon.
