Israel to publish prisoners names 48 hours ahead of swap

Tel Aviv - The names of Palestinian militants to be freed as part of a prisoner swap will only be published 48 hours before the deal gets underway, the Israel Prison Service (IPS) said Wednesday.
IPS spokeswoman Sivan Weizman told dpa that contrary to an Israel Radio report, the list would not be published Wednesday.
Yoram Cohen, the director of Israel's Shin Bet internal security service, earlier confirmed to reporters that five high-profile Palestinian prisoners - Marwan Barghouti, Abdullah Barghouti, Ahmed Saadat, Ibrahim Hamed and Abbas al-Sayyid, would not be freed.
