Tel Aviv - An Israeli man's heart stopped beating, literally, in the middle of a blind date.
The 33-year-old met the young woman in a pub in central Tel Aviv Saturday night, suddenly felt unwell and collapsed on the floor, in front of his shocked date, Yediot Ahronot newspaper reported.
Paramedics resuscitated him on the scene before taking him to hospital.
The father of one was going through a divorce and had been under stress, according to the report.
A spokesman at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital on Monday said the man was in critical condition.
