Iran hangs 11 drug traffickers

Tehran - Iranian authorities hanged 11 convicted drug traffickers on Thursday, state television reported.
The 11 men were executed in a prison in the southern city of Shiraz after their death sentences were confirmed by the Supreme Court.
Murder, rape, armed robbery and trafficking more than five kilograms of drugs are among crimes punishable by death in Iran.
