Car bombs kill two people in northern Iraq

Cairo - Two car bombs exploded at a market in northern Iraq on Wednesday, killing at least two people and wounding more than 27, Arab media reported.
The two explosions took place in the mainly Shiite town of Tal Afar, 380 kilometers north of Baghdad, the Dubai-based Al-Arabiya television said.
Earlier, attacks in Baghdad wounded five people.
The violence comes as US troops are set complete a withdrawal from Iraq by year-end, nine years after the invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein. Car bomb attacks killed 187 people in November, according to the Iraqi government.
