Explosion in southern Iraq kills at least 12

Cairo - An explosion rocked the area of Basra in southern Iraq Saturday, killing at least 12 people, Arab Media reported.
The explosion targeted Shiite pilgrims in Basra, 420 kilometres south-east of Baghdad, Al Jazeera television reported.
