Syria massing troops near Lebanese border, says opposition

Beirut - The Syrian government was Thursday massing troops around the rebellious area of Zabadani, close to the border with Lebanon, opposition activists said.
'Troops backed by dozens of tanks have started to encircle Zabadani in a move aimed at storming the area,' Ayman Idlibi, a Syrian activist, told dpa.
