LEAD: Hamas accuses Israel of violating international law

Tel Aviv/Gaza City (dpa) - The militant Islamist movement Hamas on Friday accused Israel of violating international law, after two civilians, including a four-year-old, were seriously injured in nighttime Israeli bombing raids on the Gaza Strip.

'The Israeli war machines are still practicing crimes against Gaza civilians and violating all the world's laws and conventions,' said Adham Abu Selmeya, a spokesman for Gaza's Health Ministry.

An Israeli military statement Friday morning said aircraft had bombed six targets in the Gaza Strip, in response to rocket fire targeting towns and villages adjacent to the salient on Wednesday night.

The targets hit were two weapons storage facilities in the northern Gaza Strip, three tunnels in the southern strip, and 'a weapons manufacturing facility' in the centre of the enclave, the statement said.

A statement issued by Gaza medical officials said that two civilians, a four-year-old child and a young male adult, were 'seriously injured after the Israeli occupation warplanes struck houses in northern, central and southern Gaza Strip.'

No Palestinian militant group has yet claimed responsibility for the salvo of rockets which hit southern Israel Wednesday night.
