Arab countries urged to eject Syrian embassies
Feb 5, 2012, 11:07 GMT
Munich - Syrian embassies should be shuttered across the Arab world to protest the government's ongoing crackdown on pro-democracy demonstrators, Tunisian Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali said Sunday.
'We have to expel the Syrian ambassadors from Arab countries,' Jebali, whose government expelled Syrian diplomats on Saturday, said at the Munich Security Conference in Germany.
'The Syrian people does not expect from us long statements and condemnations. They are expecting deeds.'
