18 babies die in Homs hospital after electricity cuts

Beirut - Eighteen premature babies died Wednesday in a hospital in the Syrian province of Homs because of electricity cuts which affected their incubators, an opposition activist told dpa.
'The babies were in al-Walid Hospital in al-Waar neighbourhood near the dissident area of Baba Amr,' the activist said.
