Syrian troops kill 11, say activists

Cairo - At least 11 people were killed Sunday by Syrian government troops in restive areas of the country, opposition activists reported.
Five of the deaths occurred in the district of Baba Amr in the dissident central province of Homs, said the opposition Syrian Revolution General Committees.
Government forces were Sunday launching attacks in the provinces of Daraa and Hama, according to the group.
