UN General Assembly begins meeting on Syria resolution

New York - The UN General Assembly began Thursday a session to consider voting on a draft resolution condemning the continuing violence in Syria and calling for a transition to a pluralistic political system.
The draft would call on the Syrian government to implement within 15 days the Arab League's plan of action to end the bloodshed.
