Violence kills 26 across Syria, activists say

Beirut - At least 26 people were killed Friday across Syria, with the highest toll in the embattled southern region of Daraa, near the Syrian-Jordanian border, activists in Beirut told dpa.
'Among the dead were 12 army deserters who were executed in front a group of people in Daraa,' Omar Idlibi, spokesman of the opposition Local Coordination Committees.
