ISAF forces fire warning shots in Kabul, kill one civilian
Nov 23, 2006, 8:10 GMT
Kabul - One civilian was killed and four others injured when NATO-led forces opened fire at them in central Kabul, coalition officials confirmed on Thursday.
A vehicle with passengers drove close to a military convoy Wednesday and was behaving 'suspiciously,' according to the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).
The soldiers signaled to the driver to continue and fired warning shots, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
ISAF is investigating the incident and said it regrets the death of the civilian.
