This year, we hope Tamil will get freedom and war will end.
Sinhalese will live in their country and we in our Tamil Eelam. Both countries at peace, and side by side as we had for thousands of years until British drove us into a forced marrige at gunpoint.

It's a bit lame to blame the Brits for Sri Lankans slaughtering each other in 2007. It's a been a while now since they ran the show. Funny that the droves of ethnic groups in India manage to get along, but not the two on this backwards island.
Happy new civil war, you inveterate Tamil and Sinhala savages! Enjoy butchering each other, and you know, it's always possible to blame it on the rest of mankind!

It is time that the Sri Lankan Government makes a genuine effort to solve the ethnic problem in the country rather than making evasive statments taking deceiving steps to satisfy the Sri Lankan 1971 insurgent JVP to slaughter the innocent Tamil Civilians and Sinhala soldiers without due respect to human life.
this war never going to end . because this is not Seri Lankan war . or in other word , in this subcontinent, Indian and Pakistani military are fighting face to face , other ways central government of srilanka kill 16 time all Tamil tiger since 1984 to 2006 . but in other said i means in south of India , you can find other 500 million Tamil tiger who ready to go to war . and according to tactics and strategy of war, Indian government openly cant send all 500 million madras job les, to war against Pakistani in srilanka at once . and the beast of this war is this , that since 1984 till now united nation even not for once take this war serious , and I thinks more then a million was died in this war .
What does setting off a few claymore bombs going to achieve??? The LTTE can't win the war, they just keep continuing this bloodshed by carrying out pathetic and cowardly attacks on unsuspecting people... All what this acheives is bloodshed on sri lankan soil!
Like what 'Bystander' said, we are all just butchering ourselves in a useless war, and the rest of the world is laughing at us, because sri lanka is such a beautiful place and can you imagine where this country would be if it wasn't for this war???
The LTTE can't win this war! They don't fight for the rights of our tamil race, because if they do want to help us, then they would be encouraging our youth to follow in academic studies and parliamentary solutions for the rights of tamils, rather than abducting and killing our youth in a USELESS war for money and power!
In our beautiful country, we have to think about the jokers who are behind the scene of these murders and kilings. As a Sinhala patriot, I used write against Tamils and LTTE in the past. But when compare the talks and actions of both side, the truth is revealed. Sinhala politicians are ruining the country for their own profit. they don't care the country's future or economic development. But see the LTTE they have now well built governing structure in their area. This is came out because of the our government weakness and recent visits of foreign diplomatic.
Now every diplomatics who visit SriLanka willing to visit Kilinochi. That means Kilinochi is becoming another capital within our country. Why do not some fools think about this real fact?.
If there will be any Eelam in the future, which i personally don't hope for the fate of the tamil people, there will be no actual LTTE leader, who will be confronted with anykind of democracy, beacause they wouldn't be elected.
Any self-proclaimed leadership struggles in terms of democracy, there are enough useful examples to prove this. If you have any other oppinion, then you are already trapped by the false propaganda of the chauvinist LTTE leadership,
which serve only for their own benefit. Have you ever thought of a funeral which costs more than 200'000 pounds sterling? This is not to honour any 'hero', it is for propaganda reasons only, which benefits only the organisation, not one of the people, which they claim to be their sole representatives. Those who participated at this event, are exactly the people, who never will return to their homeland, due to economically reasons, but the poor at home, will die silently. Hopefully the GoSL will liberate them and bring the reponsibles to justice, like Saddam!

How may state funerals has Sori Lanka had, and how much did they cost? I am sure lankashman Kadirgamar's funeral was not conducted with expenses of 5cents. And how did Sori Lanka pay for them, loans ofcourse.
Nonetheless, the Sori Lankan Army could not defeat LTTE for 30s and it never will.
Those in power will take loans, spend half on bombs, store away half in personal accounts.
One their regin is over, they will flea the island and settle in a Royal Palace in London or Paris as ex-rulers have done.
Sinhalese need to respect the tamil people's right to self determination and come to terms with the two state solution, atleast for their own sake, because otherwise their country is heading for number one spot on list of failed states.
If the LTTE can't win this war then Sri Lienkan government should right?
How come Sri lankan military with it's 150,000 military personnel, air force and navy can not beat the 18,000 Tamil Tigers who are controlling 1/3 of Sri Lanka and running a defacto state in Northern Sri Lanka?
24 years and Sri Lanka with it's massive military still can't beat the Tamil Tigers. Sri Lankans fight for pay cheque and Tamils fight for freedom!
As for the fear mongers here about authoratarian rule in Tamil Eelam, LTTE is 'institunalized' like any other military!!!! Defact state of Tamil Eelam has a court system, school system, health care system, banking and educational systems developed already. They also have an active police force.
There is a little country functioning(MUCH better than Sri Lienka) in the North! Soon Tamil's will have their country declared!
It's all good to say that the defacto state has a justice system, police force, etc., but the bottom line is that the Fat Prabha controls the whole show! He's a DICtator and was never elected by any people! He used he's gun to get to the position he is in now, and you think that that's democratic???
Sure there is a justice system, but who's going to bring Prabha to justice if he does something wrong??? No-one will, because Fat Prabha is the king, leader, ruler, DICtator, police commissioner, head of investigations, CEO, etc. etc. He's the presecutor, the judge, the jury and the executioner! He runs the whole show, because he has put himself as number one!
He's killed everyone that has spoken against him, and he runs the whole show with a gun around his waist! Can you imagine an Eelam under him????
Yes, the GoSL has a strong military, but the terrorists hide in jungles and amongst our innocent brothers and sisters! These civilians are used as human shields to prevent the strong military from attacking and finishing off these terrorists! They hide behind cowardly suicide attacks and behind claymore mines, while they fire artiliery from behind their human shields! This same scenario is happening in the east as we speak!
The LTTE just keeps hiding like the cowards in this war! The Fat Praba does this by example by hiding away in his little jungle hideout, and the rest of the LTTE follow suit!
President Rajapaske's son has now joined the Navy! Can you imagine Prabha's son doing that??? No-Way!!! Prabha hides himself and his family! He just hides and does cowardly attacks on unsuspecting others!
This is why the GoSL has been taking so long in finishing off the LTTE terrorists!
