Taliban refuse doctors access to sick Korean hostages

Kabul - The extremist Islamic Taliban rebels holding 21 South Koreans hostage in Afghanistan said Saturday they have refused doctors further access to two seriously ill hostages.
The rebels did not trust the doctors, spokesman Qari Mohammad Yusif Ahmadi told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa.
If the hostages died because they had received the wrong treatment, then the Taliban would be held responsible for their deaths, he said.
Ahmadi had said on Wednesday that two of the abducted women were so ill they could die.
The Taliban had no medicine for them, he said.

One could the same thing about Christian zealots who order the execution of doctors who perform abortions, or turn their backs on poor people because they assume that being poor is a mark put on people by god proving low moral character.....
Zealots are zealots, and zealots are always cruel, misguided fanatics who would rather than kill than follow the teachings of their god. It doesn't matter if they say they worship god, allah, yahweh, or krisha zealots are out of control.
So quit making the actions of the extremists a comment on Islam, unless you're prepared to make the actions of right wing christians a comment on Christianity.
I grew up in Moslem world where they burn down and kill people other than Moslem just as what they did to Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh. It is written in Qur'an that everyone who kill infidel will go straight to paradise. Read the book 'Infidel' by Ayaan Hirsi Ali before you claim that you know anything about Islam. People in the West are so naive.
James comment was in direct relation to this story so it is you Sonya that should step back on the religion attacks. This story is not about Christian Zealots holding 21 prisoners. When that is the headline feel free to post your high and mighty views. Until then get off your high horse.

It’s sad to see a woman justify and defend the actions of Islamic by making comparisons to extremists if other faiths. Sonya should move to a Taliban controlled village and then try to exercise the freedoms that she enjoys here. Sounds to me like you are all right, too bad....I do not think killing is justified for any belief.
I also would like to point out that the radical Muslem sect causes trouble in several parts of the world,they just beheaded 14 in the Philippines....But for the most part the population there still holds the person on his face value and not on what they believe. I hope it stays this way here in the states too....

Maybe you only read the first half of your Qur'an. Read the rest of the book where Mohammad declared war to kill infidels (all of us who doesn't agree with his way/ thinking). I know a lot of people who are killed, rape, and terrorized because they are not Moslem living in the Moslem neighborhood/country.
I know it's hard to accept/acknowledge the truth that is different that what you think.
There are many things you guys out there are writing about Islam, but none of it reflect the true Islamic faith. You are only writing with the sole intention of degrading Islam. However you will not be able to besmirch Islam but instead reflect on yourselves with all the contradictions.
Islam, throughout history, has never been SPREAD BY THE SWORD but it has been DEFENDED BY THE SWORD. Before Islam, was it the Arabs who invaded and enslaved hundred of thousands of Europeans? No, it was the Greek and then the Roman empires, who invaded countries and enslaved millions, including the Arabs in the Middle East. These people will whitewash their crimes in order to justify their lust for power and wealth. Today, it is in the name of democracy.
Remember, when a pirate was called a privateer when he commits crimes in the name of the King or Queen or England.

As you are well aware that there is not a single 'so-called Muslim country' that is implementing Allah's law, so how dare you quote from the Quran when you yourself will not allow it to be implemented in Muslim lands, against the wishes of the people as in Algeria.
The Muslims will first have to liberate their lands and implement Allah's law. Then you may quote the Quran. Right now, a state of war exist in Muslim lands and the best of scholars to talk to are at the frontline defending their religion.
Tell me, did you quote from the Bible when your people killed hundred of thousand of Muslims (sorry, millions) in Bosnia, Chechenya, Iraq, Somalia, Pakistan, Spain etc..
